Had been looking for a V code for my 2000 FRC for 12 years. A few on eBay etc...but none with warranty. Saw my part on Mercer site with 1 year warranty. Took the chance, had it put in last week and it made my Vette whole again. Thanks guys at Mercer!

I tried saving money with a used EBCM from an auto salvage company but after paying for installation it still generated errors. I spent about $300 in wasted labor costs plus the time and hassle to return the bad part and argue for my money back. Paying a little more for the fully tested EBCM from Mercer was well worth it. After paying for a 2nd installation the Mercer part worked perfectly with no errors. I should have gone with the Mercer in the first place.
I’m not installing this piece, so it is headed to a pro.

I spoke with Greg numerous times regarding a module for my 2004 Vette. The part arrived and the mechanic let me know today it is working fine. No more codes. The refurbished part was $600 less than another company here in town. So thankful for Mercer Cirvette will definitely utilize them again!

So glad to have a working ebcm again! The rebuilt came thru just as advertised. I changed it out the same day and everything is working again. My old control was hit by lightning coming thru the battery tender so there was no choice but to replace it. This rebuilding service is great for C5 owners. Thank you Greg.

I just picked up the Corvette today because of the knock sensors needed replaced. I wanted to know what can be done when the service active handling light keeps coming on.
Being the owner of a 2001 Chevrolet Corvette, I have discovered that the cars have a few issues. I came up with a common issue called Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM) failure that is part of the ABS/Traction Control/Active Handling system. There are no factory parts available any longer, probably because it's a common problem. My only recourse was to attempt to fix it myself (possible but difficult), have the EBCM refurbished (still difficult), or buy an already refurbished unit. These are also hard to find. Luckily, I was able to purchase a unit with lifetime warranty online from Mercer Corvette. Unfortunately, the price of refurbished EBCM modules for tis car is extremely high, this one was over $1,800. Yikes! However, it appears that the price is in the neighborhood for other refurbished unit suppliers. Sending your own unit in to be refurbished is significantly cheaper (price is about $300-$500), you lose the availability of the vehicle completely while it is out, and the process takes two to three months on average! I am happy to have gotten one in less than a month, and I was still able to drive the car while waiting. My only complaint for this instance is that Mercer Corvette did not keep me apprised of the status of the ordered unit until it had actually shipped. So I was nervous about the purchase after they had charged my card and I heard nothing about it for about three weeks following. I sent an inquiry and Mr. Mercer kindly advised me that the replacement would be shipped in a few days. Thanks to Mercer Corvette for having and delivering the module. Oh, and it works just fine! No more ABS/Traction Control/Active Handling alarms! Yay!

I installed the Mercer rebuilt EBCM module which solved my problems with all three ABS related warnings on my C5 Z06. I returned my original module, which unfortunately didn’t qualify as a core return because it was not rebuildable. Mercer still honored the lifetime warranty for my purchase. A good company and I would highly recommend them.
Upon installing my ABS Electronic Brake Control Module, I have had no further problems with warning Messages coming on.
